9 reasons to work with Caskie

1. Asset recovery

We deliver a full asset recovery service. Caskie are unique in this respect. We bear in mind that materials salvaged from demolition projects remain the property of our clients. We manage the sale and onward transfer of structural steel, non-ferrous materials and heavy items of plant salvaged from demolition projects. We charge a management fee and cost of transport to the end user, whilst our clients receive the current market value. Capital received from asset recovery helps our clients to offset demolition costs.

2. Value for money

Caskie focus on understanding our client’s aims and objectives for the project and seeking the most effective and efficient methods of achieving them at the most competitive price.

3. Reliable project delivery

Through robust planning, the development of realistic programmes, close monitoring and control of progress, we deliver projects reliably within agreed programme and budget parameters.

4. Collaborative approach

We are approachable and responsive and believe that working with our clients, rather than against them, is the key to forming long term client relationships and repeat business.

5. Minimum client supervision

Our collaborative approach takes ownership of planning, management and execution of projects from start to finish.

6. Innovative solutions to overcome challenges

The knowledge and expertise of our professional staff finds innovative solutions to site issues such as restricted space, difficult access and temporary works.

7. Considerate approach to community

Keeping neighbours informed and minimising dust, vibration and noise is key to our success within town and city centre environments.

8. Safety focused with a zero-tolerance approach to accidents

We share our client’s aspiration for a project which is free from harm to our workforce and members of the public. The systems we put in place are accredited to OHSAS 18001 and our sites are audited annually by the NFDC. Our ability to assess, manage and mitigate risk is evident in our safety record which betters the industry average.

9. Contribute positively to environmental targets

Over 95% of waste is salvaged, recycled or reused through our waste management strategies. As an ISO 14001 accredited business Caskie is committed to keeping negative impacts on the environment to a minimum. We achieve this through regulation, continual monitoring of our performance and having working practices which are designed to reduce waste, energy consumption and water.
